Return & Refund Policy
At Griinbound, we want you to shop with confidence. We take pride in the quality of our products and aim to provide a fair, transparent and straightforward returns process.
This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Griinbound.store.
For any questions regarding a return, refund or exchange, please contact us at:
Email: contact@Griinbound.store
1. Your Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer purchasing from us online, you have the legal right to cancel your order without giving any reason.
You have 14 days from the day you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods to inform us that you wish to cancel your order.
If your order contains multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day cancellation period begins on the day you receive the final item from that order.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at contact@Griinbound.store with your order details and a clear statement confirming that you wish to cancel your purchase.
After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which you informed us of your decision to cancel.
2. Return Eligibility
For change-of-mind returns, products should be returned in a condition that allows us to inspect and process the return appropriately.
You may handle and inspect a product only to the extent that would reasonably be permitted in a physical shop to establish its nature, characteristics and fit.
Where an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and its value has been reduced as a result, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect the reduction in value, where permitted by law.
Where possible, please return items with their original packaging, labels, tags and accessories.
The absence of original packaging does not automatically affect your statutory rights.
3. Items That Cannot Normally Be Returned for Change of Mind
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to certain products, including:
-
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
-
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery.
-
Goods that have become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
These exclusions do not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet your statutory rights.
4. Clothing and Accessories
Clothing should only be tried on to determine fit, size and appearance.
Please take reasonable care when trying on garments.
Products showing signs of use beyond reasonable inspection, including significant wear, damage, staining, alteration or contamination caused after delivery, may be subject to a reduction in refund where permitted by law.
For hygiene-sensitive products supplied with protective seals, the right to cancel may be lost once the seal has been removed where the product is not suitable for return for hygiene or health-protection reasons.
5. How to Start a Return
Before returning an item, please contact:
Please provide:
-
Your full name.
-
Your order number.
-
The item or items you wish to return.
-
The reason for the return, where applicable.
-
Photographs where an item has arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.
You do not need to provide a reason when exercising your statutory right to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.
Once your request has been received, we will provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.
Please do not send a return to an address that has not been confirmed by us.
6. Return Shipping Costs
If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind under your statutory cancellation rights, you will normally be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that you were informed of this obligation before entering into the contract.
We strongly recommend using a tracked postal or courier service and retaining proof of postage until your return has been completed.
If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract, Griinbound will be responsible for reasonable return costs where required by UK consumer law.
7. Refunds for Cancelled Online Orders
Where you validly cancel an online order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the payments received from you for the cancelled goods.
Where applicable, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us.
If you selected a more expensive delivery option, such as an enhanced, premium or express delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.
We may withhold the refund until:
-
We have received the goods back; or
-
You provide evidence that you have returned the goods,
whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made without undue delay and, where the above conditions apply, no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence that the goods have been sent back.
8. Refund Method
Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction unless you expressly agree to another method.
We will not charge you a fee for processing a statutory refund.
Please note that your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.
9. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied by Griinbound must be:
-
Of satisfactory quality.
-
Fit for their intended purpose.
-
As described.
If an item does not meet these requirements, you may have statutory rights to a refund, repair or replacement.
These rights are separate from your right to cancel an online purchase because you have changed your mind.
10. Short-Term Right to Reject Faulty Goods
If goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may have a 30-day short-term right to reject the goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Where this right applies, you may be entitled to a refund.
The 30-day period normally begins after the relevant conditions have been met, including delivery of the goods.
If you request or agree to a repair or replacement during this period, the statutory time limit may be paused while the repair or replacement is being carried out.
11. Faults Discovered After 30 Days
If a fault is discovered after the initial 30-day period, you may be entitled to request a repair or replacement.
Any repair or replacement must be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you.
Where repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful, not provided within a reasonable time or causes significant inconvenience, you may have the right to a price reduction or the final right to reject the goods, depending on the circumstances.
12. Faults Within Six Months
Where goods fail to conform to the contract within the first six months after delivery, UK consumer law may treat the fault as having existed at the time of delivery unless we can establish otherwise or such an assumption would be incompatible with the nature of the goods or the fault.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights available to you under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
13. Faulty Goods Return Costs
Where goods are validly rejected because they do not conform to the contract, Griinbound will bear reasonable return costs as required by applicable consumer law.
Please contact us before returning a faulty product so that we can provide appropriate instructions.
14. Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is different from the product you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please include your order number and photographs of the item received.
Where we have supplied the incorrect item, we will arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory rights.
15. Damaged Deliveries
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Providing photographs of:
-
The product.
-
The external packaging.
-
The shipping label.
-
Any internal packaging.
may help us investigate and resolve the matter more quickly.
Your statutory rights are not affected if you are unable to provide photographs.
16. Exchanges
If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us at contact@Griinbound.store.
Where an exchange is available, we will provide instructions.
An exchange option does not replace or restrict any statutory right you may have to cancel, reject or return goods.
17. Sale and Promotional Items
Products purchased during a sale, promotion or discount period remain protected by the same statutory consumer rights as products purchased at full price.
A discounted price does not remove your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.
18. Refused or Uncollected Deliveries
If a parcel is refused or is not collected and is subsequently returned to us, please contact us.
Any refund, re-delivery or associated costs will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances and your statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory right to cancel where that right applies.
19. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable evidence that the product was purchased from Griinbound.
This may include:
-
An order confirmation.
-
Order number.
-
Payment record.
-
Email receipt.
-
Other reasonable proof of purchase.
20. Refund Processing for Faulty Goods
Where you are legally entitled to a refund for faulty or non-conforming goods, refunds will be provided without undue delay and within the applicable statutory period.
Where required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a refund will be made within 14 days from the date on which we agree that you are entitled to the refund.
The refund will normally be made using the original method of payment unless otherwise expressly agreed.
21. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any rights you have under applicable UK consumer protection law.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
This includes rights available under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, as amended from time to time.
